I have yet to find the time or energy to write out Anderson's Birth Story, but I promise... I want & need to get around to it THIS week before I forget everything about the details of this little miracle of life.
Just for fun, I wanted to share some pictures of BATH time... :) I don't think he loved it so much when he had to be sponge-bathed. Here are a few pictures from his very first bath at home:
I think he's precious [even with a binky that covers half his face]!
Staring at my sweet little man on our first night home [I also love how cute Lyla is staring at her little bubby].
Yep...Anderson no likey! [And look how teeny he was!]
Thanks Mrs. Fulton for my froggie towel! It warms me up after my baths! :)
His icky black belly button fell off when he was 11 days old, and ever since he has LOVED bath time. If he's fussy, it calms him down. If his belly is feeling yucky, it soothes him. So, we just let him hang out in the bath in the evening [sometimes even when he doesn't really need a bath]. He smells like heaven, and it wears him out and gets him ready for bed--that's a plus for mommy and daddy!
I'm so proud of my adorable little boy. :) We were just watching him hang out in the bath one night and looked down; all the sudden he was peeing! We were cracking up, and I love how he looks so relaxed and proud of himself.
I cannot even begin to grasp that he will be 3 weeks old tomorrow {ALREADY}!! I don't like it one bit. Though I'm excited for all of the firsts, I already look back at the first few pictures I ever took of him, and just can't believe how much he's grown and changed in just 20 days. The love we have for him is indescribable. Being a mom is a true, TRUE blessing. What was my purpose in life beforehand?
