Halloween...If only I had kids...

I tend to forget how fun Halloween can be. Dressing up as a child was either torture, or so fun, depending on the costume. I was always a fan as long as my costume was creative. My favorite ever was when I was a 'Hi-C'Juice Box in 4th grade. I was so proud of my creation; I used a box covered in yellow poster board, and a small plumbing tube as the straw, then replicated the juice box to the best of my ability...including the written Nutrition Facts--ha!

Now comes the time that I am very excited to have children, and for many reasons. Celebrating holidays as a 'family' happens to be what I look forward to most. So, I just happened to pick up the new Parents magazine while eating my lunch at work recently. PLEASE look at just a couple of their adorable Halloween ideas:

I can just picture baking with my kids in my kitchen, but these are so simple. You simply slice a wedge out of an apple, then decorate using icing, candy, and whatever your heart desires. Such cute & tasty Halloween treats.

Then, for trick-or-treat, I would send my little boy & girl out as this cute DIY 'Milk & Cookies' duo. I LOVE milk and cookies, especially these cute ones. Creative & Yummy. :)

Too bad it may be at least 2015 or so until this happens...
