I'm 38 weeks!

 Pregnancy Highlights

How Far Along: I’m 38 weeks

Size of Baby: Anderson is the size of a watermelon! He’s pretty much reached birth weight & height…may just pack on a little more fat these last 2 weeks!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 20.5 lbs

 Maternity Clothes: Of courseeeeee. And I CAN’T WAIT to wear real clothes… if I’m ever thin again-HA!

Gender: It’s a boy! Anderson Lee Astacio

Movement: I love feeling the lil stinker roll around all day every day, except for him hitting all my nerves “down there.”

Sleep: I’m sleeping really well most nights!

What I miss: Sleeping on my stomach.

 Cravings: Goetze’s candy! Hahaha…and just anything fall-like…I’m already enjoying some pumpkin dessert & caramel apple suckers.

Symptoms: Sciatic nerve pains, “lightning crotch” [shooting pains through my pelvis] & some heartburn. All in all though, I’m not at all miserable!

Best Moment this week: Just soaking in these last few weeks of pregnancy, though I am super duper anxious to meet him. Spending lots of time with the hubs, and he has seriously been such a Godsend and has treated me so very well during my pregnancy. I cannot wait for him to see his son for the first time & to watch them together. I’ve enjoyed cleaning my house over and over again, baking, and decorating for fall. Wouldn’t want him coming home to house that’s not cozy & ready for my favorite season of the year! 14 days [I hope!]

 YUM! My husband thought I was crazy when I was trying to describe the EXACT kind of candy I wanted. But, I went back to Kroger the next day & snagged these babies up! Goetze's Caramel Creams.

The house is semi-decorated for fall, but I'm noticing my creativity is not where it used to be. That, or I'm super indecisive and picky... But I did make sure to get some yummy-licious fall candy set out on my counter, since we host our church community group each Thursday evening. Right now, we've got some candy corn, Goetze's & my most favorite caramel apple suckers!

Once I'm OK with how the house looks, I will post some fall pictures. Until then, I will enjoy my candles that are currently lit all over the house [Cranberry Woods, Autumn & Leaves from Bath & Body Works are amazing right now], and finish this cup of coffee. Happy Fall!
