Easter 2012

Easter this year was a lot of fun for this momma. Aside from the real beauty of what the holiday really is, it was wonderful to celebrate Anderson's First Easter. I loved getting to shop for coordinating outfits, I loved picking out his Easter basket, and I loved playing 'Easter Bunny' for the first time.

Our day of course started at church with the best, most gracious church family I could ask for. I love serving with Axis, and was honored to sing again on Easter this year. I wish I could sing Glorious Day and What Love is This every single Sunday.
Stylin' boy before momma went to sing!
My Gramps joined us at church and I'm so glad he did. It was so special, yet also a reality check that this was our first holiday without Grams. There were some beautiful white lilies on the altar during the service, and at the end, our pastor decided to give them as gifts to certain people in our church. He started with my precious Gramps, and made him feel extremely loved and cared about, as our church had been praying and still continues to pray for him through the loss of my Grams. {I was trying hard to hide my tears up on stage!} Then, he decided to give the rest of the flowers to all the new moms in our church... me included. So so nice. I am thankful.

Our family of three after church...
So grateful for the blessing of two wonderful boys in my life.
After church, we headed to my parents' house for a delicious Easter meal and lots of relaxation! We had a wonderful lunch with my mom, dad, brother, and his girlfriend {that I adore}, Shayla. After that, we just hung out and vegged on the couches all day! :)

And just for fun... a few more pictures...
We were trying for smiles, but he was infatuated with the fan.
Aren't they a ridiculously good-looking couple?

What a wonderful Sunday. Thankful for the CROSS...not just on Easter, but every day.
