I am so excited. When Roberto and I first moved into our house, I did a lot of painting on my own (with the help of my mom & a friend). Since then, I've been on a painting freeze, probably because I got tired of it & tired of being a perfectionist about it. Plus, what's left is on the more difficult side, and I don't have the patience or the desire to get on a ladder to paint two-story walls! :) So, NOW, we are hiring our handy-man, Mike, to come finish the rest. We will still have two empty bedrooms un-painted for now (we can wait till it's time to paint a nursery & a second guest room)! But, he will do our entry way & open foyer leading upstairs and down the hall way. He will also tear down the textured wall paper in our dining room & paint the top half and the chair rail to match what is there now. Then, our guest bath will be done, as well as our master bathroom. If I'm lucky, I will finally pick a color for our master that I actually LOVE. We have an accent wall painted, but the other 3 walls are an ugly banana cream color that I despise.
Color ideas for entry? I want something light & refreshing...
And for our master bedroom?...Should I get rid of the accent wall and have all 4 walls the same? Or keep and add lighter taupe or a fun robin's egg blue? So torn...
HELP.
I will post before & after shots once the painting is completed. :) SO PUMPED!
How exciting but it is a hard decision!! Look at some blogs to get inspiration. Like Velvet and Linen. I will email you more :)
